What Is A Concussion?

A concussion or a mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) is caused by a blow or jolt to the head, disrupting brain function and creating a temporary cellular energy crisis. Concussions are often missed, as imaging is typically normal, requiring clinical expertise to diagnose and treat effectively.

How It May Affect You
